Hojoji Tajima Kunimasa Katana
The founder of the Edo Hojoji school was Omi no kami Tachibana Masahiro. His real name was Takigawa and he was born in Tajima province.
Later on he moved to Edo and communicated with the great Edo Master Kotetsu.
Masahiro studied from Kotetsu and later he foundet the Edo Hojoji school.
Kunimasa was the best pupil from Masahiro, and both artists are know with the workmanship closely similar to Kotetsu´s work.
These Blade here from Kunimasa is a Materwork and comes with Juyo Token Paper, given by the NBTHK.
The Koshira is original from the Edo period and in realy good condition.
